About Just Eat
Just Eat doesn't cook any food itself. It lists local restaurants and takeaways, takes your order and payment, then passes the order on. Either the restaurant delivers it or a Just Eat courier does. What's available depends on your postcode, and you can filter by cuisine, rating and delivery time.
Most people order through the Just Eat app, though the website works in the same way. You can pay by card, PayPal or a similar method, and a few restaurants still take cash on delivery. Each restaurant sets its own prices, delivery fee and minimum order. A small service fee is usually added on top.
There are no returns on takeaway food. If something is missing, wrong or very late, you can report it from the order's Help section in the app. Refunds and credits are decided case by case, and you may be asked for a photo.

First-order offers
Just Eat often promotes a discount for people placing their first order in the app. You'll usually need a new account and a minimum spend.
Restaurant deals
Many restaurants add their own offers, such as money off above a certain spend or a free side. These show as a banner on the menu page. The Offers filter helps you find them quickly.
Ordering for collection
Collecting from the restaurant means you don't pay a delivery fee. Some restaurants also list a separate discount for collection orders.
Chain promotions
National chains on Just Eat sometimes run time-limited deals in the app. They change often, so have a look before you order.
What to check before using a code
Most Just Eat codes only work at selected restaurants and need a minimum order value, not counting fees. First-order codes are for new customers, usually with a new account and address. Codes are generally single-use, can't be combined with restaurant offers and may exclude alcohol. Delivery and service fees are usually charged in full, and codes can be withdrawn at any time, so check the terms before you order.
