Getting from a retailer's name to a lower total takes three steps.
Find your retailer
Type the shop's name into the search box, or browse the A–Z list and categories.
Pick a code or a deal
Each offer shows its expiry date, minimum spend and exclusions, so you can choose one that suits your basket.
Apply it at checkout
Copy the code into the promo box on the retailer's site. Deals need no code, so just follow the link.

What is a discount code?
A discount code is a word or string of letters and numbers that a retailer accepts at checkout. You might also see it called a voucher code, promo code or offer code. Once applied, it takes money off your order, adds free delivery or includes a gift.
Codes and deals are different
A code has to be typed or pasted in. A deal applies on its own, such as a sale price or free delivery over a set spend. We label every offer so you can tell them apart.
Where do you enter a voucher code?
Most UK shops put the box on the basket page or at the payment step. Look for a field called promo code, voucher code or discount code. Some sites hide it behind a small link such as "Add a code".
Using a code in an app
In apps the box is usually under the order summary before you pay. Each retailer page on this site explains where that retailer puts it.
Why isn't my code working?
The usual reasons are that the code has expired or your basket doesn't meet the minimum spend. Codes also fail when an item is excluded, such as sale stock, or when the offer is for new customers only.

When are the big UK sales?
Most retailers follow the same calendar. Timings shift a little each year, so treat these as a rough guide.

Common questions
Is Discount Code free to use?
Yes. You don't need an account and there's nothing to pay. Some links earn us a small commission if you buy, but the price you pay stays the same.
Are the codes on this site checked?
Only offers marked "Checked" with a date have been tested by us. Everything else is listed as the retailer or network supplied it, so read the conditions before you rely on it.
Can I use more than one code in the same order?
Most UK retailers allow one code per order. You can often still combine a code with sale prices, loyalty points or a free delivery threshold, so it's worth checking the retailer's terms.
Do online discount codes work in shops?
Usually not. Online codes are normally for the website or app only. Shops tend to use loyalty cards, printed vouchers or app barcodes instead.
How do student and NHS discounts work?
You prove your status with a scheme such as UNiDAYS, Student Beans, TOTUM or Blue Light Card. The scheme then gives you a code or a link to the retailer. These discounts often leave out sale items.
