A free-cancellation rate usually costs a little more than a non-refundable one. In return, you can cancel and rebook if the price drops before the deadline.
Rewards and wallet credits
Certain promotions pay a credit or cashback after your stay. The money is held in your account wallet for future bookings. Check the offer terms for how and when it is paid.
What to check before using a code
Booking.com promotions usually apply only when you are signed in, and often only to selected properties or dates. Credits and cashback are often paid after the stay and may expire. Genius prices are applied automatically and cannot usually be combined with a separate code. Taxes and local fees may still be charged at the property.
