About Deliveroo
Deliveroo works with restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and convenience stores. Its riders collect each order and bring it to your door. It also runs some delivery-only kitchens. The widest choice is in larger cities, and what you see depends on your address.
You order through the Deliveroo app or website and can pay by card or a digital wallet. Once the order is placed, you can follow the rider on a map. Every order has a delivery fee, which varies with distance and demand, plus a service fee.
There are no returns, as food is delivered as soon as it's ready. If items are missing or the order is very late, report it through Help on the order in the app. Deliveroo may then offer a refund or account credit.
Other ways to save at Deliveroo
First-order discounts
New customers are often offered money off their first order. These offers usually need a minimum spend. They're limited to one per account and address.
Deliveroo Plus
Plus is a paid subscription that removes the delivery fee on eligible orders above a minimum value. It can pay for itself if you order often. Some bank and mobile accounts have included it in the past, so check what you already have.
Restaurant offers
Partner restaurants often run their own deals, such as money off above a certain spend or discounted dishes. Look for the offer label in the app.
Refer a friend
You can share a referral link with friends. Both of you may get credit once they complete a qualifying order.
What to check before using a code
Deliveroo codes usually need a minimum basket value before fees. Many are for first orders only or limited to selected restaurants. You can use one code per order, and it won't combine with account credit or restaurant offers. Codes are often single-use and can expire or change without warning, so check the terms in the app first.
Deliveroo FAQs
Does Deliveroo offer a student discount?
Deliveroo has run student promotions and discounted Plus offers at various times, but there's no permanent student scheme. Check the app and student discount platforms for anything current.
Can I use a Deliveroo code on grocery orders?
Some codes cover grocery partners and some don't. The terms attached to each code say which restaurants or shops are included.
Is there a minimum order on Deliveroo?
There's no single minimum across the app. Some restaurants add a small-order fee if your basket is below a set value, and any fee is shown at checkout.
Why was my Deliveroo promo code rejected?
Common reasons are that the code is for new customers, it only works at certain restaurants, or your basket is below the minimum spend. It may also have expired or already been used on your account.
Does Deliveroo sell gift cards?
Yes, Deliveroo sells gift cards that add credit to your account once redeemed. Check the terms, as credit may not combine with some promo codes.
Where do these Deliveroo offers come from?
We collect offers from Deliveroo's own promotions, affiliate network feeds and codes sent in by shoppers. Each offer shows when we added it and, if we know it, when it ends. Offers disappear from this page once they expire.
We only mark an offer as checked when someone on our team has tested it, and we show the date they did. Anything else is listed as supplied and could change without notice. Some links earn us a small commission, which never affects the price you pay. Our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure explain more.
