Say delivery costs £3.95. On a £25 basket, 10% off saves £2.50, so free delivery is the better deal. On a £60 basket, 10% off saves £6, so the percentage wins. The tipping point is roughly where 10% of your basket matches the delivery charge, which here is about £40.
Can you get free delivery without a code?
Often, yes. Many retailers deliver for free once you spend over a set amount. That threshold usually still applies when you use a percentage code, so you might get both savings at once.
