Ticketmaster Discount Codes & Offers

Ticketmaster is the UK's largest ticketing platform for concerts, festivals, theatre, comedy, sport and family shows. Genuine discounts are rare and are usually tied to specific events, presales or promoter offers rather than sitewide codes.

How do I use a Ticketmaster discount code?

  1. Find your event on ticketmaster.co.uk or in the Ticketmaster app.
  2. Look for the offer or 'Unlock' code box on the event page before you choose tickets.
  3. Enter your discount or access code there and apply it to show the eligible tickets.
  4. Select your seats or ticket type before the hold timer runs out.
  5. Sign in and check the full breakdown of ticket price and fees.
  6. Pay to complete the booking, then find your tickets under My Events in the app.

About Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster sells tickets on behalf of venues, promoters and artists. Listings range from arena tours and West End shows to football matches and local comedy nights. The event organiser sets prices, seating and availability, and Ticketmaster adds its fees on top.

You buy through ticketmaster.co.uk or the Ticketmaster app. Most tickets are now digital and stored in the app rather than sent by post.

Tickets are generally non-refundable if you simply change your mind. The exact rules differ by event, so read the terms shown at checkout before you confirm.

Other ways to save at Ticketmaster

  • Presales and access codes

Artist, venue, card and mobile network presales open before general sale and need a code. They rarely lower the price. They can, however, be your best chance of face-value tickets before resale prices climb.

  • Promoter and event offers

Some promoters release short-term discounts on certain dates or seating areas. You usually enter these in the offer box on the event page. Look out for them in Ticketmaster emails and on the event listing.

  • Comparing the full price

Ticketmaster shows the total price including fees before you buy. That makes it easy to compare the real cost of different seats or dates.

  • Fan-to-fan resale

Ticketmaster's resale lets you buy tickets from other fans, often at or close to face value. For many UK events, resale prices are capped at face value. That can work out cheaper than third-party resale sites.

What to check before using a code

Ticketmaster offers are nearly always tied to one event, so a code for one show won't work on another. Discounts usually cover the face value only, and service, processing and delivery fees are still charged in full. Most codes limit how many tickets you can buy, expire on a set date and need a Ticketmaster account. They rarely work on resale tickets, and discounted tickets still follow the normal refund rules.

Ticketmaster FAQs

Does Ticketmaster offer a student discount?

There is no general student discount on Ticketmaster. Some venues or promoters sell student tickets for specific events. When they do, the option appears in the ticket list, and you may need ID at the door.

What happens if my event is cancelled?

If an event is cancelled, the face value is usually refunded automatically. Some fees may be kept, depending on the event terms. For postponed or changed events, check your account for the options available.

Why is the price higher than the face value?

Ticketmaster charges service and processing fees on top of the face value set by the promoter. The total including fees is shown before you confirm.

Do codes work in the Ticketmaster app?

Yes, the app has the same offer code box on event pages as the website. Tickets bought either way are stored in your account.

Where do these Ticketmaster offers come from?

We collect offers from Ticketmaster's own promotions, affiliate network feeds and codes sent in by shoppers. Each offer shows when we added it and, if we know it, when it ends. Offers disappear from this page once they expire.

We only mark an offer as checked when someone on our team has tested it, and we show the date they did. Anything else is listed as supplied and could change without notice. Some links earn us a small commission, which never affects the price you pay. Our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure explain more.
