Waterstones Discount Codes & Offers
Waterstones is the UK's leading high-street bookseller, with shops in most towns and cities and a full online store. Savings tend to come from multi-buy deals, its Waterstones Plus card and seasonal events rather than frequent codes.

About Waterstones
Waterstones sells new books in every genre, from fiction and children's titles to cookery, history and academic texts. It also stocks stationery, gifts and games. The chain is known for signed editions, exclusive covers and author events. Many larger branches have a café, and the group also owns Foyles, Hatchards and Blackwell's.
You can shop in store, on waterstones.com or in the Waterstones app. The website carries many titles that individual shops don't hold. Online orders can go to your home or to a branch for collection.
Returns are accepted within a set period, as long as items are in resaleable condition. Check the returns policy for the current time limit.
Other ways to save at Waterstones
Waterstones Plus card
The free Waterstones Plus card earns a stamp each time you spend a qualifying amount, in store or online. Stamps turn into credit for future purchases. Members also get occasional exclusive offers.
Multi-buy deals
Waterstones often runs offers such as buy one, get one half price on selected paperbacks and children's books. The discount applies automatically to eligible titles.
Seasonal sales
Reduced titles appear in the January sale, around Black Friday and in summer reading promotions. The offers section of the website lists what's currently discounted.
Free delivery and collection
Standard delivery is usually free once you spend over a set amount. Below that, collecting from a branch is normally free and avoids the charge. This helps when you only want one cheap paperback.
What to check before using a code
Waterstones codes are usually for online orders only and rarely work alongside multi-buy deals or Plus rewards. Gift cards, ebooks, event tickets, café purchases and some signed or limited editions are common exclusions. Most orders allow one code, a minimum spend may apply and you may need to be signed in. Delivery is worked out on the total after the discount.

Can I return a book bought online to a shop?
Yes, books in resaleable condition can usually be returned to any Waterstones branch or by post within the returns period. Take your proof of purchase with you.
Where do these Waterstones offers come from?
We collect offers from Waterstones's own promotions, affiliate network feeds and codes sent in by shoppers. Each offer shows when we added it and, if we know it, when it ends. Offers disappear from this page once they expire.
We only mark an offer as checked when someone on our team has tested it, and we show the date they did. Anything else is listed as supplied and could change without notice. Some links earn us a small commission, which never affects the price you pay. Our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure explain more.
